Product Description
As many as 3,600 people in this city long served by Evangelical Covenant Church missionaries have been left homeless because of heavy rains.
"Some of the victims have sought shelter with close relatives in surrounding villages, but most are still in Bumba and living in canoes," says Charles Longoso, the provincial health inspector who is quoted in a United Nations update. Read more about Bumba Congo Relief on www.covchurch.org.
Those interested in donating so Covenant World Relief can assist in this area may do so by check or through online contributions. Covenant World Relief uses the services of CovenantBookstore.com and its secure third-party credit card verification process for online gifts. Donors will see the name Covenant Bookstore on the donation pages, but all of the gifts donated online will be directed to the Bumba Congo through Covenant World Relief.
To donate online using a major credit card or pay pal, please select one of the options from the pull-down menu below (note: the plus signs and numbers in parentheses are used for software calculation purposes only and may be ignored). The "total donation" number is the amount that will be charged to the credit card. For those desiring amounts not listed in the pull-down menu, select a combination of the available options that equal the desired amount of the gift, i.e. a $150 gift would be achieved by selecting both the $50 and the $100 options. The correct total of $150 should appear on the order form.
To donate by check, please send contributions to Covenant World Relief, 5101 N. Francisco Avenue, Chicago, IL, 60625.
