The SECOND EDITION of The Journey: A Journal for Discipleship/Confirmation, Old Testament Student Journal is available now. Based on the feedback from churches, the second edition has been updated and expanded to include:

Going the Extra Mile. These articles expand and deepen the content for several of the Building Blocks. The articles appear at the end of the session in which the Building Block is presented. Additional Extra Mile articles are being written and will be available online next year.

Take a Closer Look. This element contains information, graphics and activities to engage the learner in a more interactive way. Visual and action orientated learners will enjoy this addition to the journal.

Time with God. This section of the journal has been reworked to include new questions and more focused reading assignments. An introductory statement has been added to each session to help the learner better understand the intention of the reading. The first question continues to be a content question while the second question applies the passage to the learner’s life.

We hope the second edition of the Journey will provide you with a resource that offers a deeper and richer experience for your students. During the coming year, we plan to review the Leader’s Guide and create additional resources to enhance the curriculum.
