"It is estimated that when China reopened its doors to the Wes, there were only 400,000 Christians in the country. Today, conservative estimates place that number between 60 and 80 million believers. In 2006, the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC) accepted the challenge of our sister church, the Taiwan Covenant Church, to join in a partnership to share God’s love in China through a project known as the Great Open Door. The goal is foir the ECC to match the more than $200,000 that the Taiwan Church is already giving per year to see lives changed in China. The following articles highlight some of the work of this partnership."
